From 3/19/17 to 3/25/17 Pepper and I skied the Tahoe Rim Trail (~170 miles), or the route of the Tahoe Rim Trail because it was under 20 feet of snow in places.
It’s been a good winter with a lot of snow and it was interesting to see how that effected our travel compared to the marginal winter of 2015. We made pretty good time and also got some good turns in a few areas. It was a great trip with a lot of variety in weather from sunny, spring conditions to complete whiteout with 100mph winds and up to a foot of fresh snow.
